It
is warm outside! After almost a month of
gloomy, rainy weather, we have finally emerged from our seasonal affective
disorder. The back deck is full of
students studying outside, girls in bikinis, daredevils dipping their toes in
the swimming pool (the water is still very cold), and high spirits. We have arrived in summer, the same way we
will arrive in Portugal tomorrow. Every
few minutes, we can’t help but look around and ask, “Is this our life?”
